Occupational Health Nurse – Food Manufacturing (UAE)

About the role

We are seeking a proactive Occupational Health Nurse to join a leading food manufacturing company in the United Arab Emirates. The role focuses on safeguarding employee health, supporting workplace safety, and ensuring compliance with food safety standards within a dynamic production environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide first‑aid and primary medical care to employees experiencing illness, injury, or health concerns.
• Monitor health conditions, coordinate medical care or hospitalization when required.
• Maintain and manage the on‑site medical clinic, including equipment, supplies, and treatment records.
• Conduct employee medical examinations and ensure compliance with occupational health regulations.
• Maintain accurate medical records, incident reports, and health documentation in the internal system.
• Support implementation of HSE programs, policies, and procedures.
• Participate in workplace inspections, risk assessments, and ergonomic evaluations.
• Assist with emergency response planning and drills.
• Ensure adherence to local occupational health regulations, GMP, and personal hygiene standards.
• Report health, safety, or food‑safety concerns to relevant departments for corrective action.

Required profile

• Diploma in General Nursing from a recognized institution with a valid Ministry of Health (MOH) license or eligibility for licensing.
• 2–3 years of nursing experience, preferably in industrial, manufacturing, or food‑production settings.
• Native Arabic proficiency and professional English communication skills.
• Good understanding of local MOH regulations and labor laws related to occupational health.
• Ability to work independently, collaborate with multicultural teams, and adapt to flexible working hours.
