Offshore Director – Marine Operations & Business Development

About the role

The Offshore Director is the single point of accountability for Front End’s entire offshore business and operations. Reporting directly to the CEO, the role unifies marine operational command, fleet management, offshore project delivery, regulatory compliance and commercial leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and own the safe, compliant and commercially optimal operation of owned and chartered offshore fleet (PSV, AHTS, crew boats, jack‑up/self‑elevating units, project/support vessels).
• Maximise fleet utilisation, minimise off‑hire time through disciplined planning, maintenance and breakdown prevention.
• Direct movement of offshore units into, within and out of fields, including anchoring, towing, mooring and manoeuvring in constrained zones.
• Oversee Dynamic Positioning (DP) operations, DP‑Operator competency, lifting operations and grounding/collision prevention.
• Govern diving and ROV operations, subsea installation, offshore platform transportation, heavy‑lift and pipeline installation, and offshore drilling and de‑commissioning activities.
• Drive business development, build pipeline, structure contracts and protect profitability while ensuring compliance with Saudi Aramco offshore requirements.

Required profile

• Extensive senior‑level experience as a marine operator with proven offshore command credibility.
• Strong commercial acumen, capable of leading business development and contract negotiations.
• Deep understanding of offshore regulatory frameworks and safety standards.
