Operations Expert – O&M Standards

About the role

The Operations Expert will join Serco’s O&M team to support the delivery of world‑class operational standards across Saudi government entities. You will help develop, implement and maintain best‑practice procedures that cover the full lifecycle of critical assets and services.

Key responsibilities

• Contribute to the development of the National O&M Manual and align it with global best practices.
• Collaborate with the client’s partner consultancy to shape O&M strategy and ensure its rollout.
• Assist the Enablement department in applying standards across multiple government entities.
• Design and standardise operating procedures for post‑maintenance testing, system‑engineering programmes, equipment/tool control, measuring & test equipment, configuration management, grounds & landscaping, facility management, emergency management, space/energy/cleaning, fleet management and procurement.
• Review and harmonise health‑and‑safety, environmental, waste‑management, quality‑assurance and continuous‑improvement processes with the client’s consultant.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of experience on national or international major O&M initiatives.
• Recognised expertise in operations and maintenance with a proven record of stakeholder engagement.
• Extensive experience working internationally, preferably in the Middle East or Saudi Arabia.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
