Operations Manager – Events (9‑month contract)

About the role

Tahaluf Al Emarat, the leading B2B events organiser in Saudi Arabia, is seeking an Operations Manager for its Events portfolio on a nine‑month contract. You will be responsible for the end‑to‑end operational delivery of high‑profile events such as CPHI Middle East, Umrah & Ziyarah Forum and the Saudi Maritime & Logistics Congress, working closely with a supportive leadership team.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and execute all operational aspects of assigned events, ensuring they meet the highest standards.
• Manage event logistics, venue set‑up, on‑site staffing and health‑and‑safety compliance.
• Oversee procurement processes, negotiate with vendors and control costs within approved budgets.
• Track project timelines, monitor progress and provide regular status reports to senior management.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to align operational plans with marketing, sales and content strategies.

Required profile

• Minimum five years of experience in event operations, project management or a related field.
• Proven track record delivering large‑scale, complex events in a fast‑paced environment.
• Strong organisational and problem‑solving abilities, with the capacity to work under pressure.
• Fluent in English; knowledge of Arabic and the Saudi market is a plus.
