Operations Manager – Vehicle Distribution

About the role

The Operations Manager – Vehicle Distribution will oversee the end‑to‑end logistics of vehicle movement across Saudi Arabia, ensuring compliance with customs, port authorities and KSA regulations while delivering vehicles to dealer locations on time and within budget.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare accurate daily operational reports and update KPI dashboards using SAP.
• Develop, implement and maintain SOPs for all logistics and supply‑chain activities.
• Monitor financial performance through monthly P&L reviews and achieve net‑profit targets via strict cost control.
• Maintain proactive communication with customers, suppliers and regulatory bodies, handling SLA negotiations and contract reviews.
• Coordinate warehousing, documentation, port clearance and vehicle deliveries to showrooms, dealers and distributors.
• Ensure all vehicle movements comply with safety and quality standards.
• Conduct staff performance appraisals and implement development reviews.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of Saudi Arabian customs and regulatory requirements.
• Proven experience in logistics or supply‑chain management within the automotive sector.
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to manage budgets and financial targets.
• Effective communication and relationship‑building abilities with internal and external stakeholders.

Required skills

• Proficient use of SAP for reporting and operational management.
