Operations Supervisor – Chemical Handling

About the role

The Operations Supervisor will lead a team of 10‑20 employees in both day and night shifts at our Al‑Jubail facility. The role ensures safe and efficient processing of hazardous liquid chemicals, coordinating trucks, tanks, and equipment to meet order timelines.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and schedule a team of 10‑20 members across shifts.
• Prepare and submit operational reports.
• Ensure all activities follow safety, quality, and environmental procedures.
• Arrange trucks, tanks, and resources for seamless operations.
• Schedule maintenance and plan activities to maximise productivity.
• Operate drum‑filling machines, forklifts, and weighbridges as needed.
• Collect chemical samples from pipelines before filling.
• Monitor process parameters and report issues to the Operations Manager.
• Maintain checklists and ensure efficient use of time, space, and resources.

Required profile

• Diploma or higher qualification.
• 3‑5 years experience in chemical handling or similar industrial environment.
• Knowledge of hazardous chemicals and ability to read MSDS.
• Basic material knowledge and understanding of heavy equipment.
• Forklift licence is an advantage.
• Fluent English – speaking and writing.
