Operations Supervisor

About the role

DHL Global Forwarding is seeking an Operations Supervisor to lead warehouse and manual‑handling activities in Dammam, Saudi Arabia. You will ensure safe, efficient processing of inbound and outbound shipments while supporting the company’s commitment to reliable, cross‑border freight services.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate warehouse and manual‑handling plans to maintain safe and efficient operations.
• Coach and guide the team to meet daily schedules, targets, and performance standards.
• Monitor inbound shipments and process outbound shipments within defined service timings.
• Participate in inventory planning, ordering, and stock level reviews.
• Resolve conflicts and coordinate delivery schedules with shippers and customers.
• Maintain up‑to‑date stock information and conduct daily/weekly inventory cycle counts.
• Perform inventory control, stock turnover analysis, and material scheduling.
• Inspect incoming material for conformity and report any defects.
• Execute safety, security, and inventory control programs to protect goods and equipment.
• Optimize warehouse space utilization to improve efficiency and reduce costs.

Required profile

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in warehouse or logistics operations.
• Bachelor’s degree.
• Strong organizational and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, multicultural environment.

Required skills

• Inventory control and cycle‑counting.
• Warehouse safety and security procedures.
