Order Taker – Food & Beverage (Saudi National)

About the role

The Order Taker will join the Food & Beverage team at Jumeirah Jabal Omar Hotel in Mecca, providing guests with accurate information and seamless service throughout their dining experience. This position focuses on supporting guests, recording preferences, and ensuring the hotel’s culinary offerings are presented professionally.

Key responsibilities

• Explain the hotel’s food and beverage offerings and answer guest queries.
• Record guest preferences and special requests, coordinating with relevant departments to fulfill them.
• Gather guest feedback and relay comments to maintain high service standards.
• Maintain up‑to‑date menu knowledge and update the information board daily.
• Hand over shifts smoothly by following the producer’s guidelines.

Required profile

• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Knowledge of food and drink pairings, including wine, spirits, and cocktails.
• Customer‑service orientation with attention to detail.
• Adaptability, cultural awareness, and teamwork mindset.
• Reliable, energetic, and able to multitask under pressure.

Required skills

• Menu knowledge of the restaurant and in‑room dining concepts.
