Orthopedic Surgery Registrar

About the role

The Orthopedic Surgery Registrar will join the orthopedic department in Abha to diagnose, treat, and manage musculoskeletal injuries and illnesses. Working within Nahdi Care Clinics, the registrar will provide comprehensive patient care, education, and follow‑up while adhering to national health standards.

Key responsibilities

• Assess patients, take medical histories and document findings.
• Design and execute individualized care plans.
• Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests.
• Prescribe medications and monitor treatment outcomes.
• Educate patients on health conditions, treatment options, and preventive care.
• Maintain accurate patient records and comply with NCC policies, CBAHI standards, and Saudi health regulations.
• Participate in committees, quality‑improvement activities, and continuing medical education programs.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, local agencies, and vendors.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Medicine and Surgery from a recognized university.
• Master’s degree in a related specialty or an Orthopedic Fellowship approved by SCFHS.
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience after the Master’s degree or eligibility to sit for the relevant board exam.
• SCFHS registration and appropriate clinical privileges.
