Packaging Quality Engineer

About the role

Lenovo is seeking a Packaging Quality Engineer to ensure the quality and reliability of packaging components across its product lines. You will work closely with suppliers, internal teams, and customers to maintain high standards and resolve quality issues.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct local supplier audits and introduce new suppliers.
• Manage supplier project quality and develop packaging parts.
• Resolve mass‑production quality issues.
• Address customer site issues and follow up on quality status.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Packaging Engineering, Materials, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in packaging materials or structural components, preferably in mobile phone or tablet industries.
• Strong knowledge of packaging material characteristics, processes, and testing methods for items such as gift boxes, instruction manuals, and carton boxes.
• Familiarity with ISO 9001 quality management systems.
• Excellent analytical, judgment, communication, coordination, and project‑management abilities.
• Proficiency in using quality tools to solve problems.
• Good command of English (reading, speaking, writing); Chinese proficiency is a plus.
