Painter / Polisher

About the role

The Painter / Polisher at Rosewood Red Sea works in an ultra‑luxury resort environment, preparing and finishing a wide range of surfaces to the highest aesthetic and durability standards. The role combines surface preparation, coating application, polishing, and routine maintenance while adhering to strict health, safety, and environmental guidelines.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare surfaces by scraping, sanding, filling, and cleaning before coating.
• Apply primers, paints, varnishes, sealants and industrial coatings using brushes, rollers or spray equipment.
• Mix paints and coatings to achieve required colour, texture and consistency.
• Polish metal, wood or painted surfaces to meet specified finish quality.
• Inspect completed work for defects, ensure colour and texture consistency, and perform corrective actions.
• Operate, maintain and clean painting and polishing tools such as spray guns, buffers and compressors.
• Maintain clean work areas and manage proper disposal of waste materials.
• Follow MSDS guidelines, use appropriate PPE and ensure proper ventilation when handling chemicals.

Required profile

• Proven knowledge of painting and polishing techniques and materials.
• Familiarity with chemical handling, safety practices and use of personal protective equipment.
• Attention to detail and ability to produce high‑quality finishes.
• Physical stamina to work at heights, in confined spaces and handle heavy equipment.
