Parts Advisor – Automotive Parts Sales & Inventory

About the role

The Parts Advisor ensures accurate identification, quotation and timely supply of genuine automotive parts to workshop technicians, retail customers and trade accounts. This role blends commercial sales responsibility with disciplined inventory management to drive workshop efficiency and after‑sales profitability.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, quote and supply genuine automotive parts to workshop technicians, retail customers and trade accounts, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
• Maintain optimal inventory levels, process purchase orders, conduct cycle counts and manage stock adjustments using the Dealer Management System.
• Support workshop productivity by providing parts within promised delivery times and coordinating urgent requirements with service advisors.
• Place daily and emergency orders with OEM suppliers, track back‑orders and provide accurate ETAs to internal and external customers.
• Prepare regular reports on parts sales, margins and stock health while ensuring compliance with OEM policies and warranty procedures.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Automotive or a related field.
• 2–4 years of experience in parts operations within a franchised automotive dealership in KSA or GCC.
• Bilingual fluency in Arabic and English (written and spoken).
• Valid Saudi Arabia driving licence (preferred).

Required skills

• Proficiency with Dealer Management Systems such as SAP, Kerridge or Autoline.
• Working knowledge of OEM Electronic Parts Catalogues (EPC) for accurate part identification.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills for reporting, stock analysis and sales tracking.
