About the role
The Patient Relations Senior Officer ensures smooth front‑office operations for new and existing patients, handling registration, appointment coordination, and financial transactions. This role acts as the primary point of contact for walk‑in patients and supports the healthcare team with timely information.
Key responsibilities
- Open and maintain patient files, verifying demographic and insurance details.
- Schedule, reschedule, and cancel appointments according to patient and clinic needs.
- Register patients on arrival, confirm walk‑in notifications to the care team.
- Collect, record, and reconcile cash payments; prepare billing summaries for the Finance Coordinator.
- Answer and route calls from the reception desk and call‑center line, providing assistance and directing inquiries.
- Ensure all required documents (insurance approvals, IDs) are current, scanned, and stored in the system.
- Contact physicians to confirm duties and schedules per the OPD calendar.
- Perform other duties within the scope of the position as assigned.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years experience in patient registration, appointment scheduling, or a similar role.
- Excellent oral and written English; Arabic preferred.
Required skills
- Working knowledge of MS Office applications.
- Familiarity with ERP systems.
