PAUT/TOFD Technician – NDT Level II

About the role

The PAUT/TOFD Technician will perform advanced ultrasonic testing, prepare scan plans, and generate reports for our clients in Al Khobar.

Key responsibilities

• Perform AUT or Phased Array Ultrasonic Testing (PAUT) and Time of Flight Diffraction (TOFD) on various jobs and liaise with clients.
• Prepare scan plans using the ES Beam tool, collect site data and interpret results with Tomoview or OMNIPC software.
• Prepare detailed inspection reports according to client requirements.
• Operate PAUT equipment such as Olympus MX2 / MX3.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering, B.Sc. or equivalent.
• NDT Level II certification by BINDT (PCN) or CSWIP in PAUT/TOFD.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in PAUT and/or TOFD.
• Knowledge of other advanced NDT methods is an advantage.
• Ability to work at height and on‑site in various industries.
• Fluent spoken and written English.
