About the role
We are seeking an experienced researcher with a PhD to join our editorial team as a part‑time peer reviewer for manuscripts in Integrative and Complementary Medicine. The position is remote, long‑term and offers flexible hours.
Key responsibilities
- Assess the novelty and scientific contribution of submitted manuscripts.
- Evaluate study design, methodology, and reproducibility.
- Check the literature review for completeness and relevance.
- Analyse results and conclusions for clarity and validity.
- Provide constructive, written feedback and highlight any ethical concerns.
- Recommend acceptance, revision, or rejection to the journal editor.
Required profile
- Doctorate (PhD) or equivalent in a relevant discipline.
- At least five peer‑reviewed papers published in SCI/SSCI journals within the last three years.
- Strong analytical, critical‑thinking and written communication skills.
- Ability to meet deadlines and maintain confidentiality.
- Prior experience as a peer reviewer is highly desirable.
Required skills
- Familiarity with online manuscript submission and review systems.
