People & Culture Manager – Remote Mountain Resort

About the role

The People & Culture Manager will be the custodian of the employee experience at Basiqat Resort, a remote mountain destination operated by Mantis Collection. Working closely with the General Manager and leadership team, you will bring the Mantis ethos to life through people‑focused practices that support a purpose‑driven, caring culture.

Key responsibilities

• Shape and nurture a culture of respect, curiosity and sustainability throughout the employee journey.
• Lead end‑to‑end recruitment for a diverse, multi‑skilled resort team.
• Build talent pipelines suited to remote destination operations.
• Design and deliver onboarding experiences that connect new hires to the resort’s story and environment.
• Partner with leadership to create a positive, purpose‑led workplace.

Required profile

• Demonstrated experience in HR or people management, preferably in hospitality or remote settings.
• Strong ability to build community and foster belonging among staff.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and cultural sensitivity.
