Personal Development Skills Lecturer – Preparatory Year Program

About the role

The Preparatory Year Program at Prince Sultan University seeks a qualified male lecturer to teach Personal Development Skills to foundation‑year students for the 2026‑2027 academic year.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver 16‑20 contact hours per semester covering personal development, life‑skills and soft‑skills topics.
• Design and update curriculum aligned with program objectives.
• Provide academic advising and support to a diverse student body.
• Participate in departmental committees, workshops, seminars and scholarly activities.
• Utilize information technology tools to enhance teaching and learning.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, Education or a closely related discipline from an accredited university.
• Full‑time on‑site study experience.
• Prior experience teaching university or foundation‑year students.
• Background in student development, life‑skills or soft‑skills instruction.
• Excellent spoken and written English.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and classroom‑management abilities.
• Ability to work effectively with diverse student populations.

Required skills

• Proficiency in using information technology for teaching.
