Pharmacist – Support Patient Services & Pharmacy Programs

About the role

We are looking for a pharmacist to support patient service lines and therapeutic programs. The role focuses on improving medication safety, operational efficiency and regulatory compliance across pharmacy initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in tracking and evaluating pharmacy programs for operational, quality and financial performance.
• Support implementation of best practices and regulatory standards in medication management.
• Provide administrative support for pharmacy‑related patient service initiatives.
• Collaborate with clinical teams to improve health outcomes and review adverse drug events.
• Monitor medication expense trends and contribute to cost‑optimization strategies.
• Execute pharmacy programs that enhance medication safety.
• Process daily medication requests, ensuring timely and accurate approvals following established protocols.
• Perform rework changes to medication requests as needed.

Required profile

• Understanding of age‑specific drug therapy needs from paediatric to geriatric populations.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong judgment, ability to act decisively and promote teamwork.
• Customer‑focused attitude toward patients, physicians, pharmacists and other stakeholders.
• Positive, self‑starter with willingness to try new ideas.

Required skills

• Proficiency with word processing, spreadsheets and PowerPoint.
• Experience using drug databases and pharmacy‑specific software.
• Familiarity with pharmacy equipment and technology.
• Knowledge of pharmacy laws and regulations.
