Planning & Control Manager (Saudi Arabia)

About the role

Eram Talent is looking for an experienced Planning & Control Manager to join its team in Saudi Arabia, working on site within the KST department and under C&C Business Operations. The role provides oversight of all C&C projects and initiatives in terms of financial governance, planning, monitoring and reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Establish and maintain financial procedures, business processes, reporting and compliance and governance for C&C projects, and monitor budget, forecast, cash flow, accrual accounting and financial management.
• Work with C&C stakeholders and Finance to align strategic objectives and KAUST policies and procedures.
• Analyse project costs, benchmark and assess commercial performance.
• Lead financial governance, set policies and controls, and ensure compliance with budget approvals, scope alignment, project charters, change management and risk processes.
• Coordinate with Finance, Procurement and stakeholders on project financial activities, and develop cost control strategies to meet budgets, schedules and programme objectives.
• Oversee project planning and budgeting from feasibility to completion, including resource planning and procurement strategies.
• Track costs, payments, progress and schedules, including variance and trend analysis, and manage cash flow, invoicing, accruals and advance payments.
• Drive stakeholder collaboration and reporting, and use benchmarking, contractor performance evaluation, lessons learned and management reporting to improve performance.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Finance, Business Administration or a related field (PMP certification is a plus).
• Minimum 10+ years of experience in project planning, cost control and financial management.
• Experience managing large-scale projects and coordinating with Finance, Procurement and Project teams.
• Solid understanding of accounting principles, risk management and compliance frameworks.

Required skills

• Budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management and financial governance.
• Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and SAP.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving and communication skills, with strong leadership and stakeholder management.
