PMO Manager – Project Management Office Lead

About the role

The PMO Manager will establish, develop and lead the Project Management Office to ensure that projects and programs are delivered in line with the organisation’s strategic objectives. This senior role combines governance, portfolio oversight and change management to drive value across the project portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain the PMO framework, methodologies, templates and best‑practice standards.
• Define governance processes, KPIs and reporting mechanisms to ensure transparency and alignment with corporate strategy.
• Manage the project portfolio – prioritisation, resource allocation, budgeting and risk mitigation.
• Support project delivery by providing tools, coaching and consistent application of Agile, Waterfall or hybrid approaches.
• Lead corporate‑excellence initiatives, integrating Lean, Six Sigma and other improvement methods.
• Develop and execute change‑management plans, engage stakeholders and act as the central point for performance reporting.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, IT, Engineering or related field (Master’s preferred).
• Professional certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2; Lean/Six Sigma or Agile certifications are a plus.
• 6+ years of project/program management experience, including 3–5 years leading a PMO.
• Proven track record of establishing PMOs, managing complex portfolios and supporting organisational transformation.

Required skills

• Microsoft Power BI for dashboard creation.
• MS Project or equivalent project‑management tools.
• Agile, Waterfall and hybrid delivery methodologies.
• Lean and Six Sigma improvement techniques.
