Power BI Financial Analyst

About the role

We are looking for a detail‑oriented Power BI Financial Analyst to turn financial and operational data into actionable insights. The role supports financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting and strategic decision‑making through advanced dashboard development.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and enhance Power BI dashboards and reports for financial and business performance analysis.
• Analyze revenue, expense, profitability and cash‑flow trends.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and financial planning processes.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports for management.
• Monitor key financial KPIs and provide insights and recommendations.
• Collaborate with Finance, Accounting and other departments to gather reporting requirements.
• Ensure data accuracy and consistency across financial reporting systems.
• Automate reporting processes and improve efficiency using Power BI and Excel.
• Perform ad‑hoc financial analysis to support strategic and operational decisions.
• Identify business opportunities, risks and cost‑saving initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, Information Systems or a related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in financial analysis, reporting or business intelligence.
• Strong understanding of financial statements, budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis.

Required skills

• Microsoft Power BI (dashboard development and data modeling).
• Advanced Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle or Microsoft Dynamics (preferred).
• Knowledge of SQL (advantage).
