Principal Software Engineer (Frontend/UI‑UX)

About the role

We are looking for a Principal Software Engineer with a strong Frontend/UI‑UX focus to shape the interaction architecture of mission‑critical digital platforms. Working in an Agile environment, you will tackle real‑time data synchronization, cryptographic state visualization, and secure content handling while guiding a team of engineers.

Key responsibilities

• Architect user flows for applications that require real‑time state updates and low‑latency feedback.
• Design visual indicators for data integrity, encryption status, and content‑protection layers.
• Develop pixel‑perfect, responsive components using Vue.js and TypeScript.
• Implement complex client‑side logic for dynamic content rendering and secure data presentation.
• Integrate seamlessly with RESTful APIs and WebSockets for live telemetry.
• Own and evolve the internal Design System across web, mobile, and desktop.
• Create high‑fidelity interactive prototypes in Figma to validate workflows with engineering stakeholders.
• Translate security concepts (identity verification, data classification, regulatory compliance) into clear UI elements.
• Conduct accessibility audits to ensure WCAG 2.1 AA compliance for diverse enterprise and government users.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Design, HCI or a related field.
• 8+ years of professional experience in UI/UX design and front‑end engineering.
• Proven track record delivering complex, stateful web applications at scale.
• Strong experience with secure API integration and client‑side state management.
• Fluent English with the ability to articulate design decisions to technical and product teams.
