Procurement Coordinator

About the role

The Procurement Coordinator will support Eaton Arabia’s supply chain by ensuring timely acquisition of materials and services, optimizing inventory, and maintaining strong vendor relationships. This role contributes directly to cost efficiency, cycle‑time reduction, and overall customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Execute procurement activities to meet planned demand dates for industrial and non‑industrial supplies.
• Coordinate with freight forwarders to minimise logistics cycle time and negotiate inbound/outbound transport costs.
• Maintain optimal inventory levels and set parameters for stockable items to achieve target inventory turns.
• Select, validate, and evaluate vendors, negotiate price and delivery terms, and prepare contracts.
• Ensure compliance with local health, safety legislation and company policies.
• Prepare SAP and monthly management reports.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or equivalent.
• 2–4 years of experience in procurement, logistics or related supply‑chain functions.
• Strong oral and written communication skills and ability to work with management.
• Knowledge of inventory management systems, JIT methodology and relevant standards, policies and regulations.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Experience with SAP reporting.
• Familiarity with inventory management systems.
