Procurement Executive – Jumeirah Jabal Omar

About the role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Procurement Executive to join Jumeirah Jabal Omar, a luxury hotel located minutes from Masjid Al Haram in the Holy City of Makkah. The role focuses on managing procurement activities for goods and services in line with operational needs, budgets and company policies.

Key responsibilities

• Manage procurement activities for goods and services, ensuring compliance with approved budgets and internal policies.
• Source and evaluate suppliers, obtain quotations and support price and commercial negotiations to achieve best value.
• Prepare and process purchase orders, maintaining complete and accurate documentation.
• Coordinate with internal departments and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
• Monitor open purchase orders, delivery timelines and pending requirements, following up on delays or discrepancies.
• Maintain accurate supplier records, quotations, contracts and related documentation.
• Support supplier performance reviews and identify reliable, cost‑effective sourcing options.
• Ensure all procurement activities comply with Jumeirah’s internal policies, approval processes and delegated authorities.
• Maintain proper documentation and audit readiness for procurement transactions.

Required profile

• Previous experience in procurement, purchasing, supply chain or a similar role (preferred).
• Strong negotiation, sourcing and supplier management capabilities.
• Excellent organisational, analytical and attention‑to‑detail skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Good understanding of procurement compliance, internal controls and approval procedures.
• Problem‑solving and decision‑making competence.
• Proficiency in English and Arabic (verbal and written).
