About the role

The Procurement Manager will develop and execute procurement strategies that support construction projects, manage supplier relationships, negotiate contracts, and ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards.

Key responsibilities

  • Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with company objectives, project requirements, and budgetary targets.
  • Oversee the full procurement cycle including sourcing, tendering, bid evaluation, negotiation, purchasing, and supplier performance management.
  • Ensure timely procurement and delivery of construction materials, machinery, tools, MEP items, and subcontracted services.
  • Conduct market research, benchmarking, and vendor evaluations to identify reliable, cost‑effective suppliers.
  • Prepare and manage RFQs, RFPs, and tendering activities for projects and operational needs.
  • Negotiate pricing, payment terms, delivery schedules, warranties, and contractual conditions to achieve maximum commercial advantage.
  • Maintain strong relationships with suppliers, contractors, and service providers for long‑term strategic partnerships.
  • Monitor supplier performance on quality, pricing, delivery, compliance, and service levels, implementing corrective actions as needed.
  • Collaborate with Project Managers, Engineering, Finance, Contracts, and Warehouse teams to align procurement plans with project schedules.
  • Review material submittals, technical specifications, and purchase requirements for compliance with project and client standards.
  • Track market trends, material availability, and price fluctuations to manage risks and identify cost‑saving opportunities.
  • Prepare procurement reports, cost analyses, supplier evaluations, and purchasing forecasts for management review.
  • Manage inventory levels in coordination with warehouse and site teams to avoid shortages or excess stock.
  • Ensure proper administration and documentation of purchase orders, contracts, and procurement records.
  • Work with Legal and Contracts departments to draft, review, and finalize procurement and subcontract agreements.
  • Lead continuous‑improvement initiatives in procurement processes, cost control, operational efficiency, and supplier management.
  • Supervise, mentor, and evaluate procurement team members to ensure high performance and professional development.
