Procurement Officer – Riyadh

About the role

We are looking for a Procurement Officer to join our Riyadh office and support the supply of high‑quality ingredients for bakers, pastry chefs and chocolatiers. The role will work closely with the Procurement Manager to ensure optimal purchasing decisions, maintain stock levels and guarantee timely delivery of goods.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Procurement Manager in developing and executing the department’s strategic plan.
• Prepare and analyse stock reports, considering sales feedback and item movement.
• Review pro‑formas and quotations, issue purchase orders and manage related procurement documentation.
• Monitor inventory levels, prevent gaps and generate daily procurement cycle reports.
• Maintain an up‑to‑date supplier database and coordinate insurance for upcoming shipments.
• Ensure special orders are recorded in the ERP system and provide customers with Certificates of Analysis and Technical Data Sheets.
• Review customs documents, liaise with shipping agencies and resolve discrepancies to avoid demurrage fees.
• Communicate regularly with suppliers regarding order status, specifications and inquiries.

Required profile

• 2‑4 years of experience in stock management or goods purchasing.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field.
• Fluent in English and Arabic.
• Strong knowledge of procurement cycles, policies and procedures.
• Ability to analyse data and produce accurate reports.
• Excellent planning, organisational and negotiation skills.
• Capable of multitasking and performing under pressure.

Required skills

• Proficiency with ERP systems for order processing and tracking.
