Procurement Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a Procurement Specialist to manage the sourcing, negotiation and purchase of high‑quality food items, kitchen supplies and related services for our catering operations. The role ensures that all purchases deliver the best value while meeting strict food safety and hygiene standards.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, evaluate and select reliable suppliers for food and kitchen supplies, ensuring quality and cost‑effectiveness.
• Conduct market research to keep pricing competitive and adapt procurement strategies.
• Negotiate contracts, pricing and delivery terms with vendors.
• Coordinate timely procurement and delivery to align with kitchen production schedules.
• Monitor inventory levels with warehouse and kitchen teams to avoid shortages or overstock.
• Collaborate with chefs and kitchen staff to understand product requirements.
• Maintain and expand supplier relationships and databases.
• Ensure all procured items comply with HACCP, ISO and other food safety regulations.
• Process procurement requests from various departments efficiently.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of procurement experience, preferably in food or catering.
• Strong knowledge of food products, perishables and kitchen equipment.
• Excellent negotiation and communication abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Required skills

• Proficiency with procurement software.
• Advanced MS Office skills.
