Procurement Specialist

About the role

The Procurement Specialist will manage the end‑to‑end purchasing process, ensuring timely and cost‑effective acquisition of goods and services while upholding quality standards. You will act as the primary liaison between internal teams and suppliers, driving negotiations and maintaining strong vendor relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, issue and follow up on purchase orders to guarantee on‑time delivery.
• Coordinate with suppliers on quotations, lead times, deliveries and order status.
• Negotiate pricing, payment terms and commercial agreements to achieve cost savings.
• Compare supplier quotations and evaluate offers based on price, quality, delivery and terms.
• Monitor purchase order progress and ensure compliance with agreed schedules.
• Communicate procurement needs with internal departments to ensure timely fulfillment.
• Maintain accurate procurement records, supplier databases and purchasing documentation.
• Prepare procurement reports and analyse purchasing data using Microsoft Excel.
• Process transactions and maintain records in Microsoft Dynamics 365 ERP.
• Resolve supplier issues related to deliveries, pricing discrepancies or order execution.
• Ensure adherence to company procurement policies and internal controls.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Procurement or related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in procurement or purchasing.
• Strong negotiation and supplier relationship management abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel.
• Experience with ERP systems; Microsoft Dynamics 365 preferred.
• Strong organizational, analytical and problem‑solving capabilities.
