Procurement Specialist (Tactical Category Management)

About the role

The Procurement Specialist will manage tactical procurement activities for assigned categories or service lines. The role focuses on supplier management, compliance, performance tracking, and driving process improvements to achieve savings and support digital transformation.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the full RFQ process for tactical categories, from initiation to award, optimizing supplier selection and cost efficiency.
• Extract and analyse procurement KPIs, identify improvements, and follow up on escalations to close open purchase orders.
• Review and update procurement procedures to ensure continuous improvement and documentation accuracy.
• Conduct investigations to ensure compliance and data quality, strengthening governance.
• Create spend baselines, develop business cases with forecasts, and deliver savings against agreed targets.
• Implement supplier performance scorecards and manage medium‑risk contracts.
• Support SAP approval workflows and assist in their smooth execution.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• 2‑3 years of experience in procurement or supply‑chain operations.
• Preferred experience in the OFSE industry.
• Professional certification such as CIPS, CPSM, or equivalent is a plus.
