Production Engineer – Manufacturing Operations

About the role

We are looking for a Production Engineer to ensure the run‑ability and quality of products on a dedicated manufacturing line. The role combines hands‑on maintenance coordination, continuous improvement, and compliance with quality and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain product run‑ability and quality according to R&D standards.
• Update machine condition reports and coordinate preventive and predictive maintenance with the Maintenance Manager.
• Identify raw‑material savings in collaboration with the technical and QC departments.
• Work closely with QC to uphold strict quality standards.
• Design and deliver training programs for new operators and machine setters, and develop backup skill sets.
• Conduct weekly Fishbone analyses and implement corrective actions with the Process Specialist.
• Collaborate with Process Improvement to reduce waste and boost efficiency.
• Lead machine upgrade projects, coordinating with the Division Technical Manager.
• Propose and drive continual improvement initiatives for productivity gains.
• Ensure compliance with the Quality Management System and integrated management system requirements.
• Partner with HSSE to update HIRA, aspect/impact registers, and support OH&S management system activities.

Required profile

• Proven experience in production or manufacturing engineering.
• Strong understanding of preventive and predictive maintenance processes.
• Experience working with quality control and technical departments.
• Ability to develop and deliver operator training programs.
• Familiarity with continuous improvement tools such as Fishbone analysis.
• Knowledge of quality management and health‑safety‑environment standards.
