Production Manager - Digital Printing & Signage

About the role

Careers International is looking for an experienced Production Manager to lead the setup and management of a hybrid production unit in Saudi Arabia. The facility will specialise in digital printing, box fabrication, signage production and wide-format printing. The role calls for end-to-end ownership of manpower, machinery and material management, from facility setup and hiring through to SOP development, estimation and production excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end establishment of the new hybrid production unit and define its layout, workflow and infrastructure
• Hire, train and manage a lean, skilled production team, set KPIs and run ongoing training
• Develop SOPs and quality control processes, optimise timelines, resource allocation and job estimation, and drive continuous improvement
• Oversee equipment selection, procurement, installation and maintenance, and preventive maintenance schedules
• Build accurate estimation models, control production costs, negotiate supplier contracts and manage inventory
• Ensure compliance with local regulations, industry standards and safety protocols, and handle legal requirements in KSA
• Work with sales, client servicing and senior management, and support the business development team on proposals and pricing

Required profile

• 8+ years in production management within printing, signage, fabrication or packaging; 5+ years in KSA
• Proven experience setting up and managing production units from scratch
• Bilingual English and Arabic (spoken and written)
• Preferred: ERP or production management software experience, familiarity with KSA supply chain, and work with premium production materials
