Production Operator – Manufacturing

About the role

The Production Operator is responsible for running manufacturing equipment safely and efficiently, ensuring that each production run meets quality and documentation standards.

Key responsibilities

• Validate the availability of required documents (JFT, PCC, etc.) before job start‑up to minimise downtime.
• Operate machines according to work instructions to ensure safe and sound runnability.
• Troubleshoot problems and request support when needed to improve efficiency.
• Present the startup sample to the Team Leader for approval before QC inspection.
• Conduct self‑inspection, sign the inspection sheet and provide samples to QC.
• Report any quality defects to QC and the Team Leader for corrective action.
• Request maintenance support and coordinate corrective maintenance tasks.
• Assign tasks to helpers, maintain 5S standards at the machine and surrounding workplace.
• Complete the daily Production Report and submit it to the Team Leader.
• Fill the Process Control card for new orders and obtain approval.
• Generate product and pallet labels with correct details and packing mode.
• Implement health and safety procedures, use PPE and report unsafe conditions.

• Willingness to attend training and participate in OH&S activities.
