Production Quality Manager

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Production Quality Manager to lead our factory’s Quality Management System (QMS) and ensure compliance with Saudi Food and Drug Authority (SFDA) regulations and international food safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain the QMS, including ISO 22000, ISO 9001, HACCP, and GMP.
• Monitor production processes to guarantee product quality and food safety specifications.
• Establish and oversee quality control procedures for raw materials, in‑process production, and finished goods.
• Investigate customer complaints, non‑conformities, and quality issues; drive corrective and preventive actions.
• Prepare and maintain quality documentation, SOPs, records, and production reports.
• Conduct internal audits and coordinate external audits and SFDA inspections.
• Supervise laboratory testing, product inspections, and release of finished products.
• Collaborate with Production, Procurement, Warehouse, and R&D teams to ensure consistent product quality.
• Support new product development and validation from a quality perspective.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Quality Management, Industrial Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in quality assurance and production control within food manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of SFDA regulations and Saudi food manufacturing requirements.
• Legal right to work in Saudi Arabia (Saudi national or valid transferable Iqama).

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with ISO 22000, ISO 9001, HACCP, and GMP.
• Proficiency in preparing factories for SFDA inspections and third‑party audits.
• Expertise in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
