Production Technician

About the role

We are seeking a hands‑on Production Technician to join Al Watania For Industries’ manufacturing team. The position supports the production of plastic, steel & metal cans, and paper products in a fast‑paced plant environment.

Key responsibilities

• Set up, adjust, and change over production machines and tooling.
• Perform preventive maintenance and troubleshoot breakdowns on production lines.
• Monitor machine performance and product quality, correcting deviations quickly.
• Support operators during startups, trial runs, and production issues.
• Maintain accurate production and maintenance records.
• Follow safety procedures and housekeeping standards at all times.

Required profile

• 1 to 3 years of hands‑on experience as a technician in plastic, can making (steel & metal), or paper manufacturing.
• Technical diploma or equivalent in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Maintenance.
• Ability to read basic technical drawings and use hand and measuring tools.
• Basic knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, and electrical systems.
• Willingness to work shifts.
