Project Control Engineer

About the role

Alfanar is seeking a Project Control Engineer to join its Riyadh office, supporting the delivery of power generation and infrastructure projects. The role focuses on overseeing project costs, ensuring budgets are adhered to, and providing accurate financial reporting throughout the project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Create and maintain project cost structures and budgets using SAP.
• Monitor and track project expenditures, identifying potential overruns and proposing corrective actions.
• Prepare detailed cash‑flow forecasts and financial reports for stakeholders.
• Coordinate with finance and other departments to reconcile budget revisions and ensure data accuracy.
• Develop cost‑saving strategies and support decision‑making with cost analysis.
• Generate and maintain dashboard reports for project stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental procedures related to project finance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 4–6 years of experience in project cost estimation, budgeting, or project control.
• Proven ability to work under pressure and deliver accurate financial information.

Required skills

• SAP for cost management.
• Microsoft Office suite.
• Project management principles.
