Project Controls Manager (Saudi Nationality)

About the role

ASSYSTEM is seeking an experienced Project Controls Manager to lead commercial, contracts and project controls functions for major capital projects in Saudi Arabia. The role requires a Saudi national with deep expertise in EPC/EPCM environments and a strong focus on cost, schedule and risk management.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage commercial, contracts, and project controls functions across major capital projects and programs.
• Develop and implement project controls frameworks, procedures, governance systems, and reporting structures.
• Oversee cost control, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and earned value analysis.
• Lead planning and scheduling activities, including integrated master schedules, progress monitoring, and recovery plans.
• Manage contract administration activities such as claims, variation orders, disputes, and contractual correspondence.
• Provide strategic commercial guidance to executive leadership and project delivery teams.
• Review and negotiate EPC, EPCM, PMC, consultancy, and subcontract agreements.
• Lead project risk management, identification, mitigation, and reporting.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Quantity Surveying, Construction Management or a related discipline.
• 15–20 years of experience in commercial management, contracts management and project controls within EPC/EPCM/PMC environments.
• Professional certifications such as PMP, MRICS, MCIOB, CCP, EVP, PRINCE2 are preferred.
• Strong communication, presentation and problem‑solving abilities.
