Project Director – Road Infrastructure

About the role

A highly experienced Road Project Manager is sought to lead and deliver road infrastructure projects to the highest engineering and technical standards. The role involves overseeing new road construction, widening, rehabilitation, bridge and culvert works, as well as traffic safety and stormwater drainage improvements.

Key responsibilities

• Lead multidisciplinary teams and coordinate with government authorities and stakeholders.
• Prepare and deliver technical and financial reports, monitoring project progress and budget.
• Manage all aspects of road projects, including earthworks, embankments, asphalt pavement, stormwater drainage networks, and traffic safety works.
• Administer contracts in line with FIDIC conditions.
• Implement risk, quality, and budget control processes throughout the project lifecycle.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or an equivalent accredited discipline.
• Minimum 20 years of civil engineering experience with a strong focus on road infrastructure.
• At least 12 years of leadership experience as a Project Manager or Project Director on major road projects.
• Active membership in a recognized professional engineering institution.
• PMI certifications: PMP and PMI‑RMP.
