Project Engineer Electrical

About the role

The Project Engineer Electrical leads the design, coordination and delivery of complex electrical systems for building and infrastructure projects. You will ensure compliance with codes, standards and safety requirements while driving project objectives alongside multidisciplinary teams.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical support during construction, reviewing shop drawings, method statements and material submittals.
• Conduct site inspections, progress reviews and resolve technical queries and RFIs.
• Support testing, commissioning and handover activities to guarantee design intent and quality.
• Direct planning, coordination, execution and control of projects in line with company strategies.
• Lead constructability reviews, optimise budgets and deliver the best solution for the customer.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 5 + years experience managing building and infrastructure electrical projects.
• Proven experience with residential building electrical systems.
• Strong commercial acumen and ability to lead high‑performing teams.
