Project Manager – Advisory (Master Planning)

About the role

WSP is seeking a Project Manager to support senior leadership in delivering complex master‑planning projects. You will work across multidisciplinary teams to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards, while navigating urban development and regulatory challenges.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the tactical execution of master‑planning projects from inception through delivery.
• Synchronise workstreams such as infrastructure, sustainability, landscape architecture and transport planning.
• Monitor schedule adherence, budget burn rates and technical quality using defined KPIs.
• Prepare and present weekly and monthly progress reports, highlighting milestones, risks and commercial performance.
• Manage scope, identify and control scope creep, and process formal change requests.
• Identify project risks (regulatory, environmental, financial) and develop mitigation strategies.
• Act as the primary liaison for clients, government authorities, utilities and contractors, ensuring transparent communication.
• Resolve technical or contractual disputes and maintain project momentum.
