Project Manager – Construction & Design Projects

About the role

The Project Manager will serve as the single point of contact between Takamul, the client, contractors, and consultants, overseeing the full project lifecycle from initiation to hand‑over. This role ensures that scope, schedule, budget, and quality standards are met while maintaining strong stakeholder relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Define project scope, objectives, deliverables and success criteria in collaboration with stakeholders.
• Establish governance, communication protocols and risk mitigation strategies.
• Oversee design stage progress, synchronize design packages with execution plans, and facilitate design reviews and value‑engineering sessions.
• Prepare tender strategy, coordinate tender documents, manage pre‑qualification, and lead the bidding and procurement process.
• Lead site mobilisation, monitor construction activities, quality, safety and compliance, and chair regular progress meetings.
• Review and approve method statements, shop drawings, material submittals and manage change orders and NCRs.
• Track performance metrics (scope, schedule, cost, quality, safety, risk) and present progress reports to senior stakeholders.
• Guide the project team, assign responsibilities, and resolve conflicts to keep the project on track.
• Oversee project close‑out, final inspections, commissioning, and hand‑over of as‑built documentation and training.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing large‑scale construction or design projects.
• Strong ability to coordinate multiple parties and maintain clear communication.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills and a proactive approach to risk and issue management.
• Demonstrated leadership in guiding multidisciplinary teams.
