Project Manager – MEP

About the role

Parsons is looking for a talented Project Manager – MEP to lead small to medium‑size mechanical, electrical, and plumbing projects. You will be responsible for delivering projects on schedule, within budget, and in line with contractual obligations while fostering strong client and team relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, direct, supervise, and control all business, technical, fiscal, and administrative functions of assigned projects.
• Forecast monthly revenue, labor costs, other direct costs, and gross profit for the project term.
• Develop, manage, and monitor project budgets and profitability.
• Oversee project invoicing, billing, accounts receivable, and accounts payable.
• Establish and maintain Project Management, Health & Safety, and QA/QC plans.
• Negotiate scope changes with clients and subcontractors, and secure additional work.
• Maintain client relationships and coordinate with potential teaming partners.
• Develop career plans for direct reports, manage staffing, and handle performance matters.
• Collaborate with engineers and discipline leads to create budgets, schedules, and execution plans.
• Monitor change orders and address cost overruns or schedule delays.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing small to medium‑size MEP projects.
• Strong ability to develop and control project budgets and financial forecasts.
• Experience handling project invoicing, billing, and change order processes.
• Demonstrated skill in client relationship management and subcontractor coordination.
• Capability to lead, develop, and evaluate project team members.
