Project & Service Engineer (I&C)

About the role

INTECH Automation & Intelligence is seeking a Project & Service Engineer (I&C) to join its automation team in Saudi Arabia. You will be involved in delivering advanced control and safety solutions for oil & gas, petrochemical, utilities and manufacturing projects, covering the full project lifecycle from design to hand‑over.

Key responsibilities

• Execute and supervise site activities such as installation, commissioning, startup, testing, troubleshooting and maintenance of PLC/SCADA/DCS/FGS systems.
• Prepare technical assessments, conduct preventive and corrective maintenance, and provide on‑site and remote support to customers.
• Lead commissioning of N2 and Air Dryer packages and support OSI PI System integration.
• Coordinate with customers, subcontractors, vendors and internal teams, maintaining comprehensive service documentation.
• Participate in control system engineering, hardware design, FAT/SAT, and interpretation of customer specifications (FRS, P&IDs, cause‑effect diagrams).

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechatronics, Automation, Electronics Engineering or related field.
• 6‑8 years of experience in industrial automation, control systems and site execution, preferably in oil & gas or petrochemical projects.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects, lead technical teams and communicate effectively with customers.
• Valid KSA driving licence and willingness to travel to client sites.
