Proposal Airport Engineer

About the role

Surbana Jurong is looking for a Proposal Airport Engineer to join its regional aviation team in Riyadh. The role will support the development of technical proposals and planning studies for airport infrastructure projects across the Middle East, focusing on terminal and airside design.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare technical content, methodologies, and scope narratives for aviation proposals.
• Review client RFPs, identify technical risks and opportunities.
• Support airport planning studies, layout designs, and technical report preparation.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary technical inputs across aviation projects.
• Assist with proposal presentations, technical reviews, and submission activities.
• Ensure compliance with ICAO, IATA, and other relevant aviation standards.

Required profile

• Degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Aviation Engineering, or a related field.
• 8–12 years of experience in airport planning, design, or aviation proposals.
• Proven experience delivering technical proposals and tender submissions.
• Experience with airport infrastructure projects in the Middle East is preferred.

Required skills

• Technical writing and proposal preparation.

• Coordination of multidisciplinary engineering inputs.
• Knowledge of ICAO and IATA standards.
