Public Area Supervisor – Luxury Hotel

About the role

The Public Area Supervisor will oversee the cleanliness and presentation of all guest‑accessible spaces at Raffles The Red Sea, a luxury resort within Saudi Arabia’s Red Sea Project. Reporting to the Housekeeping Manager, you will ensure that lobbies, lounges, corridors, elevators, restrooms, restaurants, meeting rooms, spa and other public areas consistently meet the brand’s high standards.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise daily public area housekeeping operations across multiple venues.
• Conduct regular inspections to verify compliance with Raffles cleanliness, presentation and brand standards.
• Manage cleaning schedules, task allocations and manpower deployment.
• Control the use, storage and inventory of cleaning equipment, chemicals and supplies.
• Address guest concerns related to public area appearance promptly and professionally.
• Coordinate special cleaning and setup for VIP movements, events and functions.
• Lead, coach and motivate Public Area Attendants, delivering daily briefings and on‑the‑job training.
• Liaise with Front Office, Guest Relations, F&B, Engineering and Security to ensure seamless operations.
• Report maintenance issues, damages and safety concerns.
• Enforce grooming, hygiene, health, safety, environmental and sustainability policies.

Required profile

• 2–4 years of experience in housekeeping or public area operations within a luxury or five‑star hotel.
• Previous supervisory experience preferred.
• Diploma or certificate in Hospitality Management or Housekeeping Operations is an advantage.

Required skills

• Knowledge of cleaning equipment, chemicals and supplies management.
