Public Relations Representative - Media and Content Creation

About the role

The Public Relations Representative supports the Gas Business through media monitoring, media coordination, content development and executive communications. The workplace is on site in Riyadh. The role requires a strong understanding of media channels and the ability to identify and communicate important information about the Gas Business, and to develop speeches, executive messages and media content.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor local, regional and international media channels and identify news, trends and developments related to the Gas Business.
• Analyse media coverage and highlight key opportunities, risks and reputational issues for management.
• Maintain direct communication channels with the Upstream and Corporate Media departments.
• Identify opportunities to publish Gas Business content through domestic and international media.
• Develop speeches, talking points, key messages, statements and briefing materials for senior leadership.
• Write media content, articles, press releases, announcements and other corporate communication materials.
• Turn complex technical and business information into clear content for executive and external audiences.
• Develop, edit and support the production of videos, presentations, graphics and other multimedia content.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders on projects, achievements and success stories suitable for media exposure.
• Ensure all content is accurate, professionally written and aligned with corporate messaging.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Media, Business Administration, Management or a related field.
• Relevant experience in Public Relations, Media, Corporate Communications, Journalism or Content Development.
• Strong experience in professional writing and executive speech development.
• Excellent English writing, editing and communication skills.
• Experience in video editing, graphic design or multimedia content creation is preferred.
• Experience in the Oil & Gas, Energy or Gas Business is highly desirable.
