Purchasing Clerk

About the role

FAENA The Red Sea is looking for a proactive and detail‑oriented Purchasing Clerk to support its Procurement team. The role ensures the smooth processing of purchase requests, coordination with suppliers, and timely delivery of goods and services essential for hotel operations.

Key responsibilities

• Process purchase requisitions and generate accurate purchase orders promptly.
• Obtain and compare quotations from approved suppliers.
• Coordinate pricing, availability, and delivery schedules with suppliers.
• Track order status and follow up to guarantee on‑time delivery.
• Maintain up‑to‑date purchasing records, supplier files, and procurement documentation.
• Liaise with receiving and stores teams to confirm correct receipt of goods.
• Assist in resolving delivery, quantity, or quality discrepancies.
• Monitor stock levels and support replenishment requests.
• Prepare purchasing reports and support month‑end closing activities.
• Ensure confidentiality of pricing information and compliance with internal controls.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Finance or a related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in purchasing, procurement or supply‑chain operations.
• Strong organisational skills and high attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively with internal departments and external suppliers.

Required skills

• Experience with ERP systems such as SAP.
• Familiarity with Oracle NetSuite or similar procurement platforms.
