Purchasing Officer

About the role
The Purchasing Officer will manage the end‑to‑end procurement process for Riyadh Pharma, ensuring that all purchased items meet the required specifications and are delivered on schedule. This role supports the factory’s needs by turning approved purchase requests into successful transactions.
Key responsibilities
- Receive approved purchase requests from the factory and issue corresponding purchase orders.
- Verify that the specifications of ordered items match those stated in the purchase order.
- Obtain technically approved offers that comply with delivery schedules and Riyadh Pharma policy.
- Track orders from acknowledgement through to receipt in stores.
- Coordinate with the warehouse team to obtain goods receipt notes (GRN) and keep records up to date.
Required profile
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree.
- 1–5 years of experience in purchasing or procurement.
