QA Engineer – Arabic Localization & Fintech

About the role

We are a fast‑moving fintech product team looking for a QA Engineer who can own the quality of Arabic‑speaking user experiences. You will shape testing frameworks, automation, and quality habits that keep pace with our ambitious roadmap.

Key responsibilities

• Arabic localisation & RTL testing: validate UI copy, error messages, onboarding flows, legal text and RTL rendering across devices.
• Test planning & execution: design functional and non‑functional test plans for web and mobile, covering the full embedded‑finance journey with negative and edge‑case testing.
• API testing & automation: create and run API test cases using Postman or REST Assured and automate UI/API tests with Cypress, Playwright, Selenium or Appium, integrating them into GitHub Actions pipelines.
• QA strategy & shift‑left: collaborate with squads to define coverage expectations, shape requirements and acceptance criteria, and promote performance, security and accessibility testing.
• AI‑augmented testing: leverage AI tools to generate test cases and synthetic data, guiding the team on where AI adds value and where human judgement is required.

Required profile

• 4–7 years of QA experience, preferably in fintech, open banking, payments or API‑heavy products.
• Native or near‑native Arabic fluency and fluent English for clear bug reports and stakeholder communication.
• Solid API testing skills with Postman or REST Assured.
• Hands‑on experience with at least one automation framework (Cypress, Playwright, Selenium or Appium).
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, especially GitHub Actions.
• Exposure to performance or security testing tools (k6, JMeter, OWASP ZAP, Burp Suite).
• Practical experience with AI‑assisted testing tools.
