QA QC Manager

About the role

We are looking for an experienced QA/QC Manager to lead quality assurance and control activities on a major transport infrastructure and utilities project in Riyadh. The role involves establishing and maintaining robust quality systems while coordinating with consultants, contractors and clients.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement and maintain the Project Quality Management System (QMS).
• Monitor compliance with project specifications, contractual requirements and ISO 9001 standards.
• Lead quality audits, inspections, surveillance activities and compliance reviews.
• Review and approve quality documentation such as Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), method statements and quality procedures.
• Manage non‑conformance reports, corrective and preventive actions, and drive continuous improvement.
• Coordinate with supervision teams, contractors, clients and other stakeholders to ensure effective quality management.
• Analyse quality trends and provide recommendations to senior management.
• Mentor QA/QC personnel and promote a culture of quality excellence.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 15 years of professional experience on transport infrastructure and utilities projects.
• Proven experience with engineering consultants, supervision consultants, PMC or client‑side organisations.
• Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 and international quality standards.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management and leadership abilities.
• Previous experience in the Middle East/GCC is highly preferred.
