QA/QC Electrical Engineer (Saudi National)

About the role

KBR Sustainable Technology Solutions (STS) is looking for a QA/QC Electrical Engineer (Saudi national) in Jubail. The engineer carries out technical and supervisory responsibilities based on knowledge of international standards and codes related to electrical works, in line with the organization's standards.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and follow up electrical progress of works, including installation and commissioning of different units
• Plan and control inspections of all electrical works and related activities
• Monitor the final inspection of completed electrical works before handover to the client
• Review electrical shop drawings, vendor drawings, materials submittals and specifications and calculations for compliance with contract documents
• Implement the electrical quality assurance plan
• Review as-built drawings of mechanical works, operation and maintenance manuals and warranties
• Ensure compliance with all safety procedures and encourage reporting of unsafe acts and conditions
• Comply with all SHE procedures before work starts and during work

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent
• Minimum 8 years' experience in oil and gas maintenance
• Strong technical understanding of maintenance jobs related to quality assurance
• Well organized and proactive, with excellent communication skills
• Proven leadership skills in large organizations, maturity of judgment under pressure and problem-solving ability
